Al-Mansouria helps create a safe place for the artist to create. The Foundation understands the role of culture and creativity, and treats both the artist and his art with great respect. The Al-Mansouria Foundation has provided me with a way to grow, not just locally, but internationally. With the Foundation’s help, I have been able to establish a gallery in Paris. Her Royal Highness Princess Jawaher bint Majed bin Abdulaziz and the Foundation have done so much not just for me, but for Art itself. The nobility of their aims and the elegance of their approach has been transformational for the art scene in the Kingdom. In their efforts to support the fine arts, Al-Mansouria truly values the creators and their works, despite the challenges that artists routinely present to their patrons. The efforts of Al-Mansouria have provided structure and helped civilize the Saudi artistic movement in the Kingdom. Although I am quite proud to be represented in the Foundation’s collection, I am seldom completely satisfied with my own work and continue to strive to more perfectly express my inner voice. Because of its support, the Al-Mansouria Foundation is a safe harbor for visual artists. Its special projects help to develop the field in Saudi Arabia and assist artists in reaching their greatest potential. I am proud to be a part of the Al-Mansouria Collection. What a joy that there is a foundation in Saudi Arabia that supports and welcomes artistic innovation with open arms! The Foundation is one of the pioneer establishments in the field of art patronage in the region, and has been instrumental in elevating Saudi art to the international level. One of its great strengths is its deep concern for our culture, and the way it values the unique vision of the Saudi Arabian artist. The Al?Mansouria Foundation is very effective in supporting, preserving, and documenting the cultural life of Saudi Arabia. It is my honor that The Al?Mansouria Foundation possesses my works and I am proud of this; it is a significant part of my journey of art. The Foundation represents the highest level of artistic patronage, and has supported me since my first personal show in 1997. It is an honor for me that Al-Mansouria considers my work worthy of its collection, and I am proud the works there document my technical and personal journey.
