Born Tikrit, Iraq, 1940.

BA Graphics, Institute of Fine Arts, Baghdad, 1959.

Further studies include: Graphics in both Peking, China, 1959-63, and Lisbon, Portugal, 1967-9.

Headed the Graphics Department at Institute of Fine Arts.
